I am happy to invite you to the 'Embroidery on Paper Workshop: The River Leads Us Back to the Source' as part of the art- residency programme at the Footnote centre for Image and Text.

In this three-hour workshop I will share my thoughts and research of how embroidery can be applied to the book arts. Embroidery on paper can be used to create text and images, and we will use simple stitches techniques for the creation of embroidered cards.

Sewing is a calming and grounding practice that could connect us with tradition and with each other, by sharing our practice, knowledge and stories. Even if you are a beginner, you are very welcome to join- no experience with embroidery is necessary.

Basic tools and materials are provided; feel free to bring your own
